You know, the first thing America did

was not believe a black woman,

they accused her of witchcraft,

all because she wasn’t like them,

and when she wouldn’t say what they wanted,

they tortured her until she agreed to what they said,

and they teach the witch trials as a silly, hysterical thing,

but our country was built on not believing what women say,

and diminishing their voice and rage
