Late night thoughts

I want to live to see a time where the Middle East isn’t constantly getting bombed. I want to get to a point to where children aren’t having schools in underground bunkers because there’s war raging outside. I’m tired of leader’s thing that this is something that must be done. People think poor people are something created by circumstance, but poor people are created by the politicians in place who refuse to take care of their citizens. War is one of the most grievous crimes they can commit. No one wins.

Not the people.

Not the soldiers.

No one.

There’s this endless cycle that continues and I am tired of seeing videos online of small children starving and crying because they’ve lost their family members. Of them walking through rubble. But I have to watch. I can’t look away. It feels wrong to.
