There was a moment early on in this current administration where the CEOS of the major tech companies were pictured with the President. It seemed like a weird thing, considering companies usually try to at least pretend to be diverse.

The people that have benefited most from the immigration policies are the tech companies. We’re seeing a push of AI driven cars; an industry typically filled with immigrants and underprivileged workers. Robots are suddenly popping up in hotels in Vegas, another place driven by hospitality workers from the same demographic.

And now, the White House has Melania Trump walking around with one.

The service industry is primarily made up of 65.5 % women according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Center for Immigration Studies reported back in 2023 that 2.9 million immigrants were part of the service work force.

Big Tech Aims to replace humans with their products. If there is a shortage of human workers, then companies will be forced to rely on robots. Creating systems that target immigrants is a way to try and enforce the implementation of their robots.

It’s could possibly be the same reason they’ve decided to target those with disabilities, as they also are part of that workforce, they desperately want to get rid of.
